Job summary

NIQ is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to build scalable backend services with Python/FastAPI and deliver responsive Angular UI. You will integrate frontend with backend APIs, contribute to architecture, and help ensure performance and security.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience across full-stack development and a solid foundation in RESTful services, PostgreSQL, and cloud/containerization with Docker and AKS.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience with Python backend development, preferably using FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience in Angular frontend development.
• RESTful API development and integration experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS/TypeScript).
• Linux/Unix basics and shell scripting.

Job Description

Qualifications

• 3 to 6years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong experience with Python backend development, preferably using FastAPI.
• Hands‑on experience in Angular framework for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with PostgreSQL relational databases.
• Proficiency in Git version control system.
• Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Basic Knowledge on Linux/Unix environment (basic commands, shell scripting, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a Global Team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working in an Azure Environment mainly deployment of code as docker container on AKS. Distributed deployment on AKS, debug containers, AKS load balancer.
• Certifications in Azure and or Agile would give additional weightage.
• Fundamental understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks
• Experience using Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA, Confluence
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
