Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support Microsoft Portal and Dynamics 365 applications across Contact Center, Customer Service, and Sales modules. You will implement UI/UX wireframes, build secure, scalable web portals, and integrate with Dataverse and external systems.

Responsibilities include developing Portals using Power Apps/Pages, Automate, and Copilot Studio, plus ensuring robust authentication and data-driven solutions in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years experience with Power Pages/Portals, Power Automate, and Power Platform development.
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Contact Center, Customer Service, and/or Sales.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, and Liquid templates.
• Experience with creating and deploying Agents in Copilot Studio.
• Experience working with REST APIs, custom connectors, and JSON data.
• JavaScript UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and identity authentication systems.
• Experience integrating with external systems.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies.
• Proficiency in application development tools and quality assurance practices.

• Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional web applications.
• Develop responsive forms and workflows to streamline business processes.
• Design and develop secure, scalable, and user-friendly web portals using Microsoft Power Pages.
• Utilize Copilot Studio to build, enable, and manage Copilot Studio Agents.
• Maintain intake channels such as chat, webforms, email, IVR, and other channels on the Portal.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Build web experiences integrated with Dataverse, APIs, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other enterprise data sources.
• Leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Pages/Portals, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents to deliver responsive, data-driven portal solutions.
• Build secure, role-based access for internal and external users.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
• Configure authentication and authorization using Azure AD B2C, Microsoft Entra ID, or other identity providers.
• Follow best practices, use reusable components, and deliver scalable tools across the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the application remains current and competitive.
