We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – UI Engineering to build and evolve enterprise‑scale web applications, UI frameworks, component libraries, and front‑end platform capabilities. This role will play a key part in developing modern user experiences using React, Web Components, TypeScript, and related technologies while contributing to reusable platform capabilities that accelerate application development across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strong hands‑on engineer with experience building scalable front‑end applications, shared UI frameworks, and reusable component ecosystems. Exposure to AI‑assisted engineering tools and workflows is a plus.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Web Components, HTML5, and CSS. Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces. Develop reusable features, components, and capabilities aligned with platform and design system standards. Integrate applications with REST APIs, and Backend‑for‑Front‑End (BFF) layers. Participate in technical design discussions and implementation planning.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of shared UI frameworks, component libraries, and platform capabilities. Build reusable React components, Web Components, shared utilities, templates, and engineering accelerators. Support modernization initiatives, including modularization, performance optimization, and framework evolution. Contribute to framework releases, version management, and backward compatibility. Help improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, and reusable patterns.
Implement design‑system components, design tokens, theming, and styling standards. Partner with UX and Design teams to transform designs into reusable production‑ready components. Support accessibility and WCAG compliance requirements. Ensure consistency across applications through adoption of shared frameworks and libraries.
Write high‑quality, maintainable, scalable, and testable code. Follow established coding standards and architectural guidelines. Develop automated tests, including:
Ensure compliance with: SonarQube quality standards Secure coding practices Open‑source governance requirements (FOSSA or equivalent) Identify and reduce technical debt while continuously improving code quality.
Optimize applications and framework components for:
Address vulnerabilities and follow secure development practices.
Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity and engineering efficiency. Contribute to engineering initiatives involving:
Explore opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into front‑end engineering workflows and platform services.
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers. Contribute to engineering best practices and reusable development patterns.
8–12 years of software engineering experience with strong front‑end development expertise.
Experience building reusable UI frameworks, component libraries, or design‑system‑driven applications.
Experience developing and supporting enterprise‑scale web applications.
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and modern application architectures.
