Job summary

Finvasia is seeking an analytical, results-driven Back-end Developer to join our Mohali team. You will troubleshoot and enhance back-end applications, integrate data sources, and ensure low-latency, secure server-side logic for scalable platforms.

You will collaborate with front-end developers to merge UI with server logic, write reusable code, and design architectures that handle multiple platforms and high traffic.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency with NodeJS and microservices architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and relevant workarounds.
• Good understanding of server-side templating with Express.
• Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3 basics.
• Knowledge of security compliance and data protection.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and databases.

Job description

We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Back-end Developer who will work with team members to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyse current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic

Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

Implementation of security and data protection

Integration of data storage solutions may include mysql-databases, key-value stores, blob stores

Requirements:

• 6 years (Minimum experience required)
• Strong proficiency with NodeJS
• Good to have experience in Typescript
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as express
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• Must have worked with microservices
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform
