Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in India is seeking an experienced backend software engineer to contribute to design, development and improvement of our services. You will work across systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and turn user needs into scalable technical solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring, code reviews, and engineering best practices, with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, microservices and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and leadership experience
• Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies
• Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
• Understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and various storage solutions
• Experience with test-driven development, debugging, and designing system components
• Ability to learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with teammates and stakeholders from different disciplines
