Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to drive large multifunctional development activities, mentor teams, and solve complex technical problems. You will write substantial Java and JavaScript code, guide frontend‑backend integration, and partner with Product Owners to shape technical solutions across scalable, cloud‑based systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and JavaScript (Vue JS).
• Deep knowledge of architectural principles.
• Solid understanding of frontend‑backend integration, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with data storage systems (Oracle/SQL Server, Cloud data lakes/BigData/LakeHouse).
• Experience with AI technologies is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Services in Azure, AWS or another cloud provider.
• Experience in leading teams and driving technical excellence.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering full‑stack applications.
• Demonstrate problem‑solving experience involving leading teams to troubleshoot complex project issues.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Owners to define technical solutions.

About the Role

As a Software Engineering Lead you will provide assistance and input to management, lead large multifunctional development activities, solve complex technical problems, write complex code for computer systems, and serve as a senior source of expertise.

• Ability to collaborate closely with Product Owners to define technical solutions and actively contribute to the estimation process
