Job summary

Bayer is expanding its Kinaxis-focused team in Bengaluru to support and roll out demand and supply planning capabilities for the CS Supply Chain group. The role involves deep-dive requirements sessions, architecture and design for Kinaxis solutions, and hands-on implementation across multiple cycles.

The candidate should have 8+ years of Kinaxis experience, with at least two full lifecycle implementations, strong data mastery, and excellent communication to collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Kinaxis implementation (Demand & Supply) or similar planning solution.
• At least 2 full Kinaxis implementations.
• Strong understanding of master data (BOMs, resources, classifications).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep-dive customer requirements sessions and develop specifications.
• Lead multiple cycles of Kinaxis implementation across design, development and testing.
• Provide solution architecture and system design for complex problems.
• Understand Kinaxis data model and inbound/outbound data integration options.
• Configure Rapid Response for SOP, Demand Planning and Supply Planning.
• Set up resources like Workbooks, Dashboards, Forms, Hierarchies, Scheduled Tasks, Scripts, Automation chains.

Software Engineer (Kinaxis)

Position purpose

We are expanding our team to work in DevOps mode to continue to support, enhance and roll out the Demand and Supply planning Capabilities for the CS Supply Chain team.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop requirements specifications documentation.
• Have multiple cycles of leading implementation experience in complex supply-chain solution design, development, and testing.
• Provide Solution Architecture, System design in enabling creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices.
• Thoroughly understands the Kinaxis Data model and Inbound/Outbound data integration options and best practices.
• Experience in Configuring the Rapid response system for SOP , Demand Planning and Supply Planning capabilities.
• Expertise in setting up resources (Workbooks, Dashboards, Forms, Hierarchies, Scheduled Tasks, Scripts, Automation chains etc).
• Expertise in implementing Forecast consumption, Forecast disaggregation and spreading, Statistical Forecasting.
• Expertise with Multi Level functionality to enable better sourcing decisions in a complex supply chain network and across multiple Bill of Material levels.
• Experience in configuring Capacity planning functionality for constraints.
• A good understanding in Detailed scheduling functionality and implementation experience with Detailed scheduling tools using any tools include SAP, Kinaxis.
• Experience in system administration topics including User/Account management, Deployment of changes across DEV, QA and PROD systems

Who you are

• Minimum 8 years hands-on Kinaxis implementation (Demand Supply) or similar Supply Chain Planning Solutions.
• At least 2 full lifecycle Kinaxis implementations experience.
• Expertise in setting up resources like Workbooks, Dashboards, Forms, Hierarchies, Scheduled Tasks, Scripts, Automation chains etc
• Strong understanding of master data, including BOMs, resources, classifications, and material/batch structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into designs and determine feasibility of possible solutions in Kinaxis.
• Solid understanding of integration
