Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Software Engineer (Kinaxis) in Bangalore to join a team delivering Demand and Supply planning capabilities for the CS Supply Chain. You will work in DevOps mode to support, enhance and roll out Kinaxis-based solutions.

Required are 8+ years in Kinaxis implementations, strong data-model and integration expertise, and proven ability to configure S&OP, forecasting and capacity planning within complex supply chains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years hands-on Kinaxis implementation (Demand & Supply) or similar Supply Chain Planning Solutions.
• At least 2 full lifecycle Kinaxis implementations experience.
• Strong understanding of master data (BOMs, resources, classifications, material/batch structures).
• Experience configuring Kinaxis for S&OP, Demand Planning and Supply Planning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop requirements specifications.
• Lead implementation cycles in complex supply-chain solution design, development, and testing.
• Provide solution architecture and system design for Kinaxis-based solutions.
• Configure Kinaxis data model, inbound/outbound data integrations, and Rapid Response capabilities.
• Set up resources like Workbooks, Dashboards, Forms, Hierarchies and automation chains.
• Implement forecasting consumption, disaggregation and statistical forecasting.
• Ensure multi-level functionality for complex supply chain networks and BOM levels.
• Configure capacity planning for constraints and detailed scheduling integration.
• Manage system administration tasks including user/account management and deployment across DEV/QA/PROD.

Software Engineer (Kinaxis)

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are expanding our team to work in DevOps mode to continue to support, enhance and roll out the Demand and Supply planning Capabilities for the CS Supply Chain team.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in deep-dive customer business requirements discovery sessions and develop requirements specifications documentation.
• Have multiple cycles of leading implementation experience in complex supply-chain solution design, development, and testing.
• Provide Solution Architecture, System design in enabling creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices.
• Thoroughly understands the Kinaxis Data model and Inbound/Outbound data integration options and best practices.
• Experience in Configuring the Rapid response system for S&OP , Demand Planning and Supply Planning capabilities.
• Expertise in setting up resources (Workbooks, Dashboards, Forms, Hierarchies, Scheduled Tasks, Scripts, Automation chains etc).
• Expertise in implementing Forecast consumption, Forecast disaggregation and spreading, Statistical Forecasting.
• Expertise with Multi Level functionality to enable better sourcing decisions in a complex supply chain network and across multiple Bill of Material levels.
• Experience in configuring Capacity planning functionality for constraints.
• A good understanding in Detailed scheduling functionality and implementation experience with Detailed scheduling tools using any tools include SAP, Kinaxis.
• Experience in system administration topics including User/Account management, Deployment of changes across DEV, QA and PROD systems

WHO YOU ARE:

• Minimum 8 years hands-on Kinaxis implementation (Demand & Supply) or similar Supply Chain Planning Solutions.
• At least 2 full lifecycle Kinaxis implementations experience.
• Expertise in setting up resources like Workbooks, Dashboards, Forms, Hierarchies, Scheduled Tasks, Scripts, Automation chains etc.
