Job summary

Optum is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Azure Cloud from Hyderabad, India.

You will collaborate with product owners and architects in Agile environments, develop microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native solutions, and participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and performance improvements. 5+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience developing modern web applications using ReactJS.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services and REST API development.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Proven strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support adoption of AI-assisted development practices and modern engineering tools to improve developer productivity
• Comply with employment contracts and company policies; policies may be updated at the Company's absolute discretion

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Solid hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience developing modern web applications using ReactJS
• Experience with Azure Cloud services and REST API development
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
