Job summary

Optum in India is seeking a Software Engineer to develop micro-services and Java-based applications. You will participate in design, development, testing, and debugging, ensuring code traceability to specifications. The role requires BE/BTech or ME/MTech/MCA with strong Java/J2EE, Spring, CI/CD (Jenkins), SQL/Oracle and Kubernetes knowledge.

Familiarity with JSON, APIs and Copilot is a plus. This full-time, on-site position is based in Uttar Pradesh and offers opportunities to work on global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BE/BTech or ME/MTech/MCA is required.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD and relational databases (Oracle/SQL).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, JSON, APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Copilot and ML/AI tools is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Micro\-Service Development
• Database Components Development ( Table/Procedure/Triggers)
• Design, implement and maintain java application phases
• Take part in software and architectural development activities
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
• Identifying production and non\-production application issues
• Transforming requirements into stipulations
• Develop, test, implement and maintain application software
• Ensures that product / software code being built is clearly and comprehensively developed and traceable back to technical specifications
• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree(BE \\ B. Tech) or Master's Degree (ME\\ M Tech\\ MCA)
• Good Knowledge of Java /J2EE
• Good knowledge of Spring Framework
• Good Knowledge in Jenkins /CICD

Preferred Qualifications:
