Job summary

Optum in India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design and build scalable distributed systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers, contributing to the full software development lifecycle with a strong emphasis on quality and performance.

You will work on cloud-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Python, with exposure to AI/ML concepts and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Developer.
• 2+ years of experience in any cloud environment - Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Knowledge of Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, Python.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, reviews, and operations.
• Knowledge or working experience in AI/ML.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with the engineering teams to help solve business problems
• Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team''s deliverables
• Write high quality distributed system software

Required Qualifications:
