Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise app development in large-scale environments.

Job description

• Design, produce, test, and implement working software across the system lifecycle
• Develop knowledge of the associated platform across business, applications, data, and infrastructure disciplines
• Liaise with principal engineers, domain architects, and key stakeholders to understand platform operation and business objectives
• Apply Agile methods to software development on the backlog
• Produce resilient and long-lived software and adapt to future needs
• Deliver intentional architecture and formulate emergent design through innovative ideas, experimentation, and prototyping
• Design and develop software with emphasis on automating build, test, and deployment activities using executable patterns

Requirements

• Experience of at least 14 Years in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise application development within complex, large-scale environments
• Strong expertise in transforming Monolithic apps running in Local DC to Microservices based apps running in Cloud
• Strong expertise in designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance Solutions
• Hands-on experience with GCP (Pub-sub, GKE, BQ, Dataproc, etc.), Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modernization of legacy enterprise platforms
• Proven experience working with Sybase, PostgreSQL, distributed caching technologies such as Oracle Coherence, and performance optimization of data-intensive applications
• Investment banking domain and understanding along with Market Risk Domain
• Strong full stack experience in software design and implementation
• Ability to use programming languages to solve complex problems
• Capability for complex requirements analysis, capture, and validation against business and systems requirements
