HARMAN Automotive in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Java Backend Lead to steer our backend development. You will design, develop, and deliver high-performance systems, mentor engineers, and shape technical decisions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply Spring and microservices, leverage cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and champion best practices, DevOps, and modern architectures.

Qualificações

• 3-6 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and microservices.
• Experience leading teams and driving decisions.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event-driven messaging (Kafka).

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Java Backend Lead to lead our backend development team. You’ll design, develop, and deliver high-performance backend systems, mentor team members, and drive technical decisions.

What You Will Do:

• Lead backend development team and drive technical decisions
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java
• Mentor and guide team members to improve skills and delivery

• Ensure best practices, code quality, and technical debt management
• Drive innovation and improvement in backend systems

What You Need to Be Successful:

• 3-6 years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and microservices architecture
• Experience leading teams and driving technical decisions
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Reactor, Akka)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
