Job summary

GeoIQ in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Software Engineer 3 on iOS to design, build and ship high-quality Swift-based applications. You will contribute to gateway services and adopt new technologies to accelerate delivery for our locational intelligence platform.

Work closely with product managers and SDET teams to estimate timelines, write robust unit tests, and follow industry best practices across design, development and testing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in iOS app development using Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with MVVM/MVC architectures and API integration.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines and iOS tooling.

We are seeking a Software Engineer 3 iOS to be responsible for executing initiatives designed to move the needle on key business goals via experimentation and measurement. You'll be focused on shipping high-quality technology and features to advance our mission of revolutionising the eyewear industry. We're a high-impact team with an ambitious mission and are looking for high-calibre people to join us! How your skills and passion will come to life at Lenskart: Design and build applications for the iOS platform (Swift) and Gateway Services. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product managers and SDET teams to gather data and estimate project timelines.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Strive to follow the best coding practices throughout the process of designing, development and testing.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with UIKit / SwiftUI.
• Understanding of MVC / MVVM architecture.
• Experience integrating APIs and handling JSON.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.
• 2+ years of software engineering and product delivery experience, with 3+ years of experience with iOS (Swift).
• Experience working with product managers and UX designers, with a strong product sense and the ability to own large areas of product design and usability.
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Capability to bring in software engineering life cycle best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Executed on RCAs / tough engineering problems at work.
• Won awards / Was recognised by upper management for going above and beyond.
• Open-source/pet project contributions.
