As a Data Analyst at Lenskart, you will play a crucial role in managing, analysing, and interpreting data to support strategic decision-making across departments. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams — from marketing and product to operations and technology — ensuring that every data point contributes to better customer experiences, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Data Reporting & Dashboard Management:
Oversee the dissemination of key performance data through dashboards and reports to help leadership make informed business decisions.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork by working closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Managers to deliver analytical insights and business intelligence reports.
Data Transformation & Integration:
Collaborate with Data Engineers to build and enhance transformations using tools such as DBT (Data Build Tool) for efficient report generation.
MIS & Analytical Functions:
Perform independent data analysis to support Management Information Systems (MIS) and track business performance metrics.
Internal Reporting:
Develop and manage internal trackers, product mappings, customer mappings, and team performance reports.
Database Development:
Support the creation of database specifications and documentation to improve data governance and access.
BI Tools & Visualization:
Build, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView, ensuring data clarity and accessibility.
Data Quality & Audit:
Conduct periodic data quality audits and ensure the integrity of data through strong validation and assurance measures.
Statistical Analysis:
Use statistical techniques to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and produce data-driven insights that support business strategies.
Presentation & Reporting:
Prepare client-ready presentations highlighting key insights, growth indicators, and actionable recommendations.
Customer Insights:
Build and maintain customer analytics dashboards to better understand buying behaviour, preferences, and trends.
Documentation & Visualization:
Document all data sources, models, and processes for easy reference and future scalability.
Research & Publications:
Collaborate on internal research projects, patents, and publications for industry conferences or academic journals.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data management roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools like QlikView, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Sound understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines.
