Job summary

Dcluttr is seeking entry-level software developers in India to build and deploy features rapidly, collaborating across teams and leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery.

You will work on backend systems and architecture, applying modern development practices to ship functional work and iterate based on feedback.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or B.E. from IIT required.
• Strong coding ability in Java or Python.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor/Claude).
• Solid fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Portfolio evidence (GitHub/Open-source) encouraged.
• Self-motivated learner capable of adapting to new frameworks.
• Experience with AI APIs or LLM integration valued.
• Backend or scalable systems experience appreciated.

About the role:

• Build and deploy software features rapidly, with a focus on shipping functional work and iterating based on feedback
• Collaborate with engineers to solve technical challenges using modern development practices
• Work on backend systems and application architecture as part of the development cycle
• Leverage AI coding assistants and large language models to increase productivity and reduce time spent on routine tasks

What we're looking for:

• B.Tech or B.E. degree from an IIT
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python with demonstrable coding ability
• Experience using Cursor, Claude, or comparable AI-assisted development tools
• Capability to apply AI effectively for problem-solving and accelerated feature development
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and engineering problem-solving
• A builder's mindset—enthusiasm for creating projects and delivering results quickly
• Portfolio evidence such as open-source contributions, side projects, GitHub work, or technical experiments that show your initiative and technical depth
• Self-motivated learner who picks up unfamiliar frameworks and tools without extensive guidance
