Job summary

DDN in Pune, India is seeking a Software Engineer - III to work on storage solutions for data-intensive workloads. You will design, implement, and ship software using modern tooling and practices, building features and maintaining existing code across Linux environments.

You will collaborate with a distributed team, analyse bug reports, tune performance, contribute to product docs, and participate in code reviews with JIRA/Jenkins workflows.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.
• Software development experience in Linux environments with Rust, Bash scripting.
• Candidates currently working on C or C++ or Golang programming with strong system level expeirence and willing to work on RUST programming can also apply.
• Total experience of 7 to 15 years is required.
• Linux experience is preferred
• Strong team player with good communication skills and should be self-starter.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, and Github preferred.
• Prior experience working with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems a bonus
