Job summary

DDN in Pune invites a Staff or Senior Staff Engineer to lead design and development of storage software for data-intensive workloads. You will design, implement, and deliver features, and collaborate with a distributed team to translate product requirements into robust solutions.

Candidates should have 10–20 years of software experience in Linux environments, with Rust and Bash scripting, plus C/C++. Strong communication, self-starting attitude, and ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.
• Software development experience in Linux environments with Rust, Bash scripting.
• Candidates currently working on C or C++ programming and willing to work on Rust programming can also apply.
• Total experience between 10 to 20 years is preferred.
• Linux experience is preferred
• Strong team player with good communication skills and should be self-starter.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, and Github preferred.
• Prior experience working with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems a bonus

We are looking for a Staff or Sr. Staff Engineer for our team, which focuses on creating storage solutions for the most data-intensive workloads. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and shipping software using modern development tooling and practices.
