Software Engineer (Level 3) – Experience: 7–12 years
Role Overview: A mid-level engineering role responsible for delivering high-quality modules with minimal supervision. Requires strong technical capability, design small components, mentor juniors, and effectively use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and optimize application components using .NET Core, React, Next.js, Razor, Blazor, SQL, .NET, and C#.
- Contribute to low-level design, API design, and module planning.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical feedback to Level 1 developers.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to performance and security improvements.
- Participate actively in Agile workflows—user story refinement, estimation, sprint planning.
- Contribute to CI/CD readiness with basic build and deployment familiarity.
- Use AI tools for code generation, unit testing, documentation, and analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with QA, DevOps, Product, and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills
- 7‑12 years of experience developing browser‑based applications using .NET Core, React, Next.js, Razor, Blazor, SQL, and C#.
- Knowledge and working experience with MVC.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML and CSS.
- Proficiency in at least one .NET language, preferably C#.
- Experience developing RESTful web services using ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Good SQL skills, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficient with frontend development using HTML5, CSS, and a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular with TypeScript (Breeze.js preferred).
- Knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to cloud services (Azure or AWS), containers, and DevOps workflows.
- Ability to create or improve small design components or reusable utilities.
- Experience writing automated tests or integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
