Job summary

Barracuda is seeking a Software Engineer II in Bengaluru to join the Central Intelligence team. You will build, enhance, and maintain scalable, low-latency services using Python and AWS, collaborating with SRE, Data Engineering, QA, and Ops to deliver high-quality software.

You’ll work on integrating AI/ML capabilities into our threat-detection platform, improving automation and performance. A strong foundation in CI/CD, Agile practices, and cloud technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/ Master’s or related field.
• 3+ years in software development with AWS, Python, and DevOps.
• AWS skills: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, ECS.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
• DevOps: CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience integrating AI/ML into production environments.

The Barracuda Central Intelligence team is looking for a highly skilled and passionate Software Engineer II to join our cross-functional Agile team. Our team collects, aggregates, enriches, and distributes threat intelligence across the company to power threat detection systems that protect our customers. As a Software Engineer II, you will build, enhance, and maintain scalable, highly concurrent, low-latency services owned by the Central Intelligence team. • Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities into our systems to drive automation, intelligent threat detection, and advanced product features.

What You Bring To The Role

• Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science/ Masters or related field.
