Job summary

TekWissen India is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team in Chennai. You will architect, develop, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter environment, focusing on Active Workspace applications, and drive digital transformation through robust integrations.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Teamcenter ITK and SOA, capable of translating complex engineering needs into scalable solutions that enhance product development workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• 4+ years in IT with at least 3 years in development.
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter ITK and SOA.

Responsibilities

• Customization & Development: Design, develop, and implement server-side customizations using Teamcenter ITK and client-side enhancements within the Active Workspace framework.
• Integration Management: Build and maintain integrations between Teamcenter and external systems using SOA and web services.
• Configuration: Utilize BMIDE to manage data models, including the creation of new business objects, attributes, GRM rules, and LOVs.
• Active Workspace Optimization: Configure and customize the Active Workspace UI, including Stylesheets (XRT), Tiles, Commands, and Declarative UI components to improve user experience.
• System Maintenance: Perform root cause analysis for complex system issues, optimize database queries, and manage Teamcenter environment deployments, patches, and upgrades.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on PLM best practices.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical design documentation, unit test plans, and deployment guides for all customizations and integrations.
