Job summary

DPDzero is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and scale its digital collections and recovery platform. The role involves delivering backend services and compelling frontend work, while ensuring performance and reliability at scale.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to own features end-to-end, mentor peers, and contribute to high-quality code and documentation in a fintech-focused environment. Bengaluru-based role with emphasis on scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
• Hands-on frontend experience with React, Vue, or Angular and good UX/UI sense.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and schema design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and documentation.

• Work with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design APIs and systems prioritizing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to standards and docs.

DPDZero is looking for an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale our digital collections and recovery platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, values clean architecture, and enjoys working across both backend and frontend systems.

You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build scalable backend systems and delightful user experiences, while also taking full ownership of performance, reliability, and maintainability. You’ll play a key role in mentoring engineers, solving real-world problems, and shaping the future of a fintech product used at scale.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g. Python, Go, Java, Node.js, etc.) with a strong understanding of CS fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies like React, Vue, or Angular, and a good eye for UX/UI
• Hands-on experience working with modern relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), including schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with engineering best practices: code reviews, documentation, CI/CD, performance monitoring, and automated testing
• Proven track record of owning features or technical areas end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring
