Job summary

Credgenics is an India-based NPA resolution platform enabling banks and fintechs to resolve stressed assets using technology and automation. We are seeking a senior engineering leader to own end-to-end development, deployment, and the function of core tech systems.

You will coach a team of engineers, design scalable building blocks, set strategic direction, and drive complex projects from conception to delivery.

Qualifications

• Expert-level hands-on knowledge in one of Python, Go, or Java with strong CS fundamentals.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience building high-performance, high-traffic applications.
• Familiarity with Agile, TDD, testing automation, performance/load testing.
• Proven experience leading a team of 5–10 engineers.
• Ability to design software from ground up including data modeling and API design.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of deployment on AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering products with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing tech building blocks and reviewing code to remove roadblocks.

We work with financial institutions, Banks, NBFCs & Digital lending firms to improve the efficiency of their collection using technology, automation intelligence and optimal legal routes to facilitate the resolution of stressed assets.

With all major banks and NBFCs as our clients, our SaaS-based collections platform helps them efficiently improve their NPA, geographic reach and customer experience.

We count most of India's lending majors as our clients such as ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, etc and have been able to grow 100% MoM consistently even among the pandemic.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching, mentoring and hiring a great team of engineers owning the end-to-end development, deployment & functioning of the core components of Product technology systems.
• Helping the team by designing tech building blocks, reviewing code and clearing technical roadblocks through technical expertise regularly.
• Set direction for the team, anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful long-term planning.
• Planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects including the quality and timeliness of projects.
• Clearly think of the projects from a business impact perspective for Credgenics and help articulate the same to the team.
• Establish coding guidelines, best practices, code-review practices and culture of quality within the team.
• Maintaining development pipeline for the team and providing clarity to the team even in times of conflicting management priorities.
• Working with the product team to ensure successful product and feature rollouts including requirement analysis and documentation.

Requirements:

• Expert-level in-depth hands-on knowledge of the primary technology you work on (one of Python, Go, Java) and strong programming & computer science fundamentals (Algorithms, Data Structures, Networks, Operating Systems, Elastic Search, Kafka, Redis).
• 8+ Yrs of experience in software Development
• Expertise in the development of high-performance high-traffic applications with a good understanding of measuring results and identifying application bottlenecks quickly.
• Understanding of software development practices such as Agile, TDD, Testing Automation, Performance and Load testing.
• Experience in leading a team of 5-10 people with proven results delivered.
• Proven expertise in designing software applications from the ground up (Knowledge of data modelling, application designing, API design etc).
• Good understanding of databases including both relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Understanding of software development practices such as Agile, TDD, Testing Automation, Performance and Load testing.
• Good understanding of deployment in AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering products by collaborating with product, design and management team.
