Job summary

Qualifacts is looking for a Software Engineer II (P2) to join our onsite team in Vadodara, India. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools, work with Product Owners to refine requirements, and contribute to Agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of quality software.

You will collaborate with QA, development, and operations to roll out products, write clean code in Microsoft technologies, and help maintain secure, well-documented SaaS platforms such as CareLogic, Credible, and InSync.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or related field.
• 5+ years as a full stack developer with experience in web apps and back-end services.
• Experience developing SaaS apps using Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework/.NET Core/C#).

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to boost productivity and code quality.
• Work with Product Owners to refine requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and align deliverables with business goals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with QA to define testing strategies and ensure high-quality standards.
• Deliver high-quality bi-weekly sprints and scheduled releases on time.
• Ensure compliance with internal coding, documentation, and security standards.
• Analyze complex requirements, provide estimates, clarify gaps, assess feasibility and risks, and document decisions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with architecture specifications.
• Work with development, QA, and operations teams to enable successful product rollouts.

Software Engineer II (P2)

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to improve developer productivity and code quality
• Work closely with Product Owners to refine requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure deliverables align with business goals.
• Actively participate in Agile team activities, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define testing strategies, validate functionality, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Partner with peers to deliver high-quality bi-weekly sprints and scheduled releases on time.
• Ensure compliance with internal coding, documentation, and security standards.
• Analyze complex requirements to gain a thorough understanding, provide estimates, validate and clarify gaps, assess feasibility and risks, maintain transparent communication, and create technical documentation.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in alignment with architecture specifications.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful product rollouts.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases, including advanced script writing and query optimization.
• Demonstrated ability for self-directed learning and adapting to new technologies quickly.
• Knowledge of best practices for secure data handling and transmission.
• Experience in developing SaaS applications using Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and automated testing frameworks
• Proficiency in source control management, preferably with Git.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs (or equivalent)

Qualifications Of The Software Engineer II

• Bachelor's degree required (computer science, information systems or another industry-related curriculum)
• 5+ or more years as full stack developer along with experience in web applications, end-user applications and back-end services

Technical Skills Of The Software Engineer II

• Languages: .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, .NET Core
• Frameworks: MVC, .NET Entity Framework, Angular (or equivalent frameworks)
• Databases: MS SQL, DynamoDB (or another NoSQL DB)
• Cloud: AWS or Azure experience, including serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge)
