Job summary

Candescent in Mumbai is seeking a Software Developer to join a collaborative agile team building a new financial platform. You will design and implement features in Java, participate in reviews, and help craft reliable software that scales.

You bring a university degree in CS, 3+ years Java experience, and strong problem solving. Familiarity with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, Spring/Hibernate, and test frameworks is a plus.

You Can Expect To

• Be part of a collaborative scrum team working in a scaled agile environment
• Work with the team to design and implement new features and functions for an exciting new financial platform based on new technologies
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges
• Engage in story grooming sessions to flush out requirements
• Actively participate in various scrum and SAFe ceremonies
• Develop and/or modify Automated Unit, Feature and Integration Tests

You Have

• University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years Java development experience
• Strong design and analytic skills
• Experience working in software development and testing concepts in a fast-paced, dynamic Agile environment
• The ability to communicate effectively & adapt to changing requirements
• Strong team and communication skills
• Good troubleshooting skills
