Job Description

Role: Software Engineer II, Location: Bengaluru.

What you’ll do

As a Data Engineer II, you will drive the design, development, and maintenance of integrated data workflows across our enterprise applications. You will build automated, scalable, and robust data pipelines connecting systems such as Workday, Salesforce, internal MiQ platforms, and the centralised BI data warehouse. Additionally, you will perform monthly BAU processing of billing data across all MiQ commercial regions.

You will act as a data engineering subject‑matter expert, applying leading design standards to manage end‑to‑end pipelines and collaborating with stakeholders across data value‑chain domains.

What you’ll bring

• 2‑3 years of experience in data engineering and integration, with hands‑on exposure to building data pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Notebook PySpark coding (preferably on Databricks) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with Hadoop technologies such as Hive and Spark.
• Working knowledge of finance ERP suites and SaaS applications like Workday, SAP, and Salesforce.
• In‑depth understanding of data modelling and transformation techniques, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
• Familiarity with release, incident management, and SDLC via Bitbucket/GitHub and JIRA.
• Knowledge of infrastructure components (clusters, nodes, compute, storage) needed to optimize pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, stakeholder‑management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with diverse business and technical stakeholders on strategic data projects.
