Postman is the world’s leading API platform, enabling developers and organizations to build API-first software. We are looking for a frontend-focused engineer to strengthen Automation Testing, starting with performance tests and test automation.

You will work across the UI and backend APIs to deliver fast, reliable test features and insightful results. You will build features for testing APIs, optimize parallel runs in CI and the cloud, and ship end-to-end with well-tested code.

Competenze

• 3+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong fundamentals and clean, well-tested code.
• Strong React and TypeScript, and a record of shipping complex, data-heavy interfaces.
• Experience with charts, real-time data and frontend performance.
• Product sense, and comfort working on the backend APIs your UI uses (Node.js).
• Nice to have: Experience with load-testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Gatling or Locust.
• Experience with API testing, developer tools or test automation.

About the team

Automation Testing builds how developers test and automate their APIs, from local runs and CI pipelines to scheduled and large‑scale runs in the cloud.

About the role

You’ll work across Automation Testing, starting with performance testing: load‑testing APIs at scale. The role leans toward the product experience: how users set up and run tests, and read and debug their results.

At Postman we value in person collaboration. We are in office 5 days a week for all roles based out of our hubs in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, New York City, Tokyo and London. For roles based in Bangalore, employees currently work in the office three days a week and will transition to five days per week by the end of the year. We were thoughtful in our approach which is based on collaboration and grounded in feedback from our workforce, leadership team, and peers.
