Job summary

Postman is seeking a senior engineer to scale our test infrastructure and tooling. You will own CI/CD pipelines, develop internal testing tools, and build observability frameworks to improve product quality and developer productivity.

You will collaborate with a small, high-impact team, driving reliability and efficiency across projects while championing best practices in testing and observability. This role is based in Bengaluru with in-office work expectations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience building large-scale JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
• Strong fundamentals in software design, systems thinking, and test infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD systems.
• Experience building or working with test observability, analytics, or reporting systems.
• Comfortable working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence engineering practices.

The Opportunity

You will be part of Postman’s Test Infrastructure team, which powers quality at scale across the company.

From CI/CD pipelines to test frameworks and observability, we focus on improving developer productivity and accelerating feedback loops.
We’re looking for a senior engineer who can help us scale our test infrastructure to meet the next phase of Postman’s growth.

What You’ll Do

At Postman we value in person collaboration. We are in office 5 days a week for all roles based out of our hubs in San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Austin, New York City, Tokyo and London. For roles based in Bangalore, employees currently work in the office three days a week and will transition to five days per week by the end of the year. We were thoughtful in our approach which is based on collaboration and grounded in feedback from our workforce, leadership team, and peers. The benefits of our in office model will be shared knowledge, brainstorming sessions, communication, and building trust in‑person that cannot be replicated via zoom.
