Job summary

Qube Cinema in India is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop, modify, and maintain cloud-based components for test and development environments. You will contribute to building and enhancing the AWS/cloud testing stack to accelerate product delivery.

Join a hands-on team to troubleshoot deployment and operations, tune performance, and implement scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure using Docker, Linux systems, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines across on-prem and cloud.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of DevOps experience, preferably as a DevOps Engineer.
• Hands-on with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.).
• Experience with Docker, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain cloud-based components for test and development environments.
• Create, maintain, and enhance: test, validation, and logging infrastructure for our AWS/cloud components.
• Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
• Performance tuning, monitoring, maintaining fault-tolerant/HA infrastructure to deliver highly scalable services.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to refine, build, test, and release practices across the organization.
• Proactive monitoring of server systems.
• Manage multiple concurrent releases/builds from different projects.
• Continuously work to improve provisioning, automation, configuration, integration, deployment, and release processes for company growth, user experience, and timely product delivery.
• Audit infra security and implement best practices.
• Build and Maintain IaC code.
• Handle log aggregators, Elastic APM, ElastiCache.
• Work with Docker containers, and build images.
• Support Linux systems running on-prem and on the Cloud.
• Support Windows systems running on the Cloud.
• Provide solutions to custom requirements.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of working experience in a DevOps capacity, preferably as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience with AWS components, with most if not all components
• Experience with ECS, SQS, SES, SNS, S3, EC2, Autoscaling, CloudFront, CloudWatch, VPC (Private & Public subnetting, NAT, Elastic Beanstalk)
• Experience in designing and managing highly available AWS RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) in a significant production environment
• Defining IAM roles and policies
• Strong Linux/Amazon/CentOS/Ubuntu system administration skills (patching, configuration, etc.)
• Experience with GIT, SVN, working with docker and LogDNA, Elastic ELK stack
