Job summary

Mantras2Success Consultants in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and safeguard scalable AWS infrastructure, automate provisioning with Terraform, and manage CI/CD with Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.

You will optimize deployments, monitor with CloudWatch/Zabbix, enforce security, DR, and cost controls, while collaborating with Development and QA in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud or similar roles.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Extensive AWS infrastructure design and management experience.
• IaC with Terraform proficiency.
• Configuration management with Ansible.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.
• Docker experience and working knowledge of Kubernetes/Amazon EKS.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like CloudWatch and Zabbix.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based production, staging, and development environments.
• Configure and optimize AWS services (EC2, ALB/NLB, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudFront).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform and use Ansible for config mgmt.
• Build and manage containerized apps using Docker; Kubernetes/EKS knowledge.
• Monitor systems with CloudWatch and Zabbix for high availability and performance.
• Enforce infra security, backup, DR, and cost optimization practices.
• Collaborate with Dev and QA teams to streamline releases and deployments.
• Maintain docs, deployment procedures, and infra diagrams; drive DevOps improvements.
• Lead a team down the line.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based production, staging, and development environments.
• Configure and optimize AWS services, including EC2, ALB, NLB, Auto Scaling, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, S3, and CloudFront.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker, with exposure to Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch and Zabbix to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement infrastructure security, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization best practices.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams to streamline release management and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and application-related issues.Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.
• Continuously improve DevOps processes by adopting cloud and automation best practices.
• Lead a team down the line .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration.
• Extensive experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Zabbix.Good understanding of networking concepts, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
