We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on building reliable, secure, and high-performance systems.You will work closely with development and operations teams to enable cloud-native architectures, improve deployment processes, and ensure system reliability across enterprise and SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and containerized applications.
- Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters , Docker containers, and related services.
- Collaborate with development teams to enable cloud-native architecture , microservices , and message-driven systems using SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ .
- Implement observability through centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch .
- Partner with the MIR team to establish SRE practices - monitoring, alerting, and incident management for production workloads.
- Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization , and scalability planning across environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes and deployment strategies.
- Drive DevSecOps and GitOps adoption for secure, consistent, and automated deployments.
- Identify root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and take action to prevent them.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to building a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement .
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Deep understanding of Cloud-Native Architecture , Microservices , and Distributed Systems .
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code – Terraform (mandatory), CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes administration.
- Working knowledge of message queues (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go .
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing frameworks .
- Understanding of networking, security, and IAM in cloud environments.
