Job summary

Solventum seeks a Cloud & DevOps Engineer to empower global health platforms. You will design and manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and improve security and reliability across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with IaC, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable platforms.
  • Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines across HIS environments.
  • Automate operations using IaC and scripting; strengthen monitoring and observability.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, API, backup, and connectivity issues across cloud and enterprise platforms.
  • Implement security best practices, patching, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will help power the next generation of healthcare technology by building, automating, securing, and optimizing cloud-based platforms. In this role, you will work with modern cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, observability platforms, DevOps practices, and AI-enabled engineering capabilities to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across global healthcare environments.

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS environments to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable platforms.
  • Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments across Health Information Systems (HIS) environments.
  • Automate operational processes using scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and policy-driven automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
  • Develop and improve monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions to strengthen platform reliability and proactive issue detection.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, integration, API, backup, and connectivity issues across cloud and enterprise platforms.
  • Implement security best practices, patching, vulnerability remediation, access controls, and compliance-focused operational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, operations, security, and business teams to deliver reliable and secure services.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

AND In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (5+) years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure operations or DevOps role
  • Three (3) years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms, operational tooling, or cloud services in a production environment
  • Three (3) years of experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform administration, operational support, system integrations, or service reliability activities in enterprise environments
  • Two (2) years of experience in automation, scripting, and database administration using technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, or similar tools and platforms to support cloud and enterprise environments.
  • One (1) year of experience troubleshooting infrastructure integrations, APIs, backup agents, application connectivity, and cloud platform issues
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and monitoring, observability, or logging tools used to track infrastructure and platform operations
  • Strong Linux administration, networking, security, vulnerability management, and root cause analysis skills
  • Familiarity with databases, cloud-native services, high-availability concepts, and disaster recovery practices
