The Impact You'll Make in this Role
- Designing, developing, and implementing full stack applications that support customer-facing identity and access management capabilities.
- Building responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using Node.js and service-oriented or middleware-based architectures.
- Implementing secure IAM integrations, including authentication, authorization, user lifecycle workflows, and identity platform connectivity using tools such as Okta.
- Working with cloud-native platforms, primarily AWS, to support application deployment, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release processes using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and container-based deployment workflows.
- Supporting production systems by monitoring application health, troubleshooting incidents, resolving defects, and improving reliability and performance.
- Partnering with product owners, engineers, QA, support teams, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver high-quality features in an Agile environment.
- Applying engineering best practices including code quality, automated testing, secure development, refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Continuously improving the platform by recommending enhancements in architecture, IAM practices, cloud operations, and developer workflows.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5 years of experience in full stack application development in an enterprise or product-based environment.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- 5+ years of experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React.
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js and API or service-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS. Exposure to Azure is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and secure integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and end-to-end application ownership from design through deployment and support.
- Experience with Okta, including authentication flows, lifecycle management, provisioning, and administrative integrations.
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud infrastructure patterns.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
- Experience with relational, NoSQL, or graph-oriented databases.
