Job summary

Mobility Global is assembling a team to build a new strategic web platform for Mobility Automotive Insights, leveraging Gen AI at its core. You will craft production-grade Java backend services, design scalable components, and integrate diverse data sources to empower clients with intelligent automotive insights.

The role focuses on hands-on development, microservices on cloud, and close collaboration with product owners. Hybrid work model with location-based in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in application development using Core Java.
• Good knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Collections and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Exposure to Kubernetes for container orchestration and service deployment.
• Exposure to Gen AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, code assistants).
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• As a core engineer on this team, you will be hands-on in building the new web platform from the ground up — writing production code, designing scalable components, and integrating various datasets as the platform grows.
• Design, implement and own micro services on cloud and emerging technologies.
• Work as a hands-on developer to build scalable, reliable services and APIs.
• Work closely with product owners and technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
