Job summary

Mobility Global is assembling a new team to develop a strategic web platform for Mobility Automotive Insights. As a core engineer, you will write production code, design scalable components, and integrate datasets as the platform grows, with Gen AI at the center of capability.

You will work with product owners and technology leaders to clarify requirements, participate in code reviews, and help shape best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
• 5–9 years of application development experience in Core Java.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading, Microservices, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Kubernetes exposure for container orchestration and deployment.
• Familiarity with frontend JS/React is a plus.
• Exposure to Gen AI tools and strong communication skills.

The Team

We are putting together a new team that would be responsible for developing and supporting a new strategic web platform for Mobility Automotive Insights. It is an exciting opportunity for the team to build a futuristic platform for our clients with Gen AI being a center piece of the capability.

What you will do

Responsibilities and Impact:

• As a core engineer on this team, you will be hands-on in building the new web platform from the ground up - writing production code, designing scalable components, and integrating various datasets as the platform grows.
• Design, implement and own micro services on cloud and emerging technologies.
• Work as a hands-on developer to build scalable, reliable services and APIs.
• Work closely with product owners and technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.

What We are Looking for

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science.
• 5 to 9 years of experience in application development using Core Java.
• Good knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Collections and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Exposure to Kubernetes for container orchestration and service deployment.
• Exposure to frontend technologies - Javascript / React is a plus.
• Exposure to Gen AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, code assistants).
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations determined by location and subject to change based on evolving business needs.
