Job summary

Mobility Global is building a new high-impact web platform for Mobility Automotive Insights, focusing on Gen AI-driven capabilities. The role leads engineering, collaborates with tech leads and product managers, and shapes the platform over several years.

You will mentor engineers, deliver scalable features, and drive quality and security across frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software development, strong leadership, and hands-on full-stack skills with React,

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in application development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience managing software teams and projects.
• Hands-on experience as a full-stack developer (React, Core Java, Python).
• Strong cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to Gen AI tools and AI-assisted development.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve objectives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

The Team

We are putting together a new team that would be responsible for developing and supporting a new strategic web platform for Mobility Automotive Insights. It is an exciting opportunity for the team to build a futuristic platform for our clients with Gen AI being a center piece of the capability.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities and Impact

This role would lead the development effort for the new web platform working with multiple stakeholders like tech leads and product managers over the next few years to incorporate various datasets into it. This role is pivotal to the success of this platform and several products which would migrate to this platform over the next few years.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture within the team.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent to build a high-performing engineering team.

Individual Contributor

• Hands-on senior developer who designs and develops features end-to-end across both frontend and backend
• Own technical delivery — from architecture decisions to writing production-ready code.
• Work closely with product owners and architects to translate requirements into scalable, well-tested solutions.

Quality Assurance

• Enforce software quality standards, testing, and code review processes to maintain a high level of software quality.
• Monitor and optimize software performance, security, and scalability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Facilitate effective communication and cooperation between teams.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• A minimumof10 yearsof strong experience in application development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within software engineering, with a track record of successfully managing software development teams and projects.
• Hands on experience in programming languages as a Fullstack developer (e.g. React, Core Java , Python)
• Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure or GCP)
• Exposure to Gen AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, code assistants)
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations determined by location and subject to change based on evolving business needs.
