NetApp in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is seeking a BMC Engineer to join the Firmware R&D team. You will develop, test, and debug firmware and embedded software interfacing with NetApp storage operating systems, focusing on reliability and performance.
The role requires strong C/C++ programming, Linux kernel knowledge, and the ability to lead small teams or projects. Hybrid working environment and collaboration with senior leaders are part of the role.
As a BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) Engineer you will work as part of a Research and Development team responsible for developing, testing, and debugging firmware and embedded system software that interface with NetApp storage operating systems. The Firmware R&D team focuses on competitive market and customer requirements, supportability, technology advances, product quality, product cost, and time‑to‑market. Firmware engineers work on enhancements to existing products as well as new product development, including functional testing of developed features.
This position requires an individual who is creative, a quick learner, driven to produce results, and demonstrates the ability to lead small teams or projects.
