Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end automated test cases for web applications
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Defect Management & Reporting and able to train and mentor others
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications
• Identify, log, and track software defects, and work with teams to resolve issues
• Analyze test results, report defects, and provide insights for product quality improvements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Playwright Automation Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with test automation frameworks i.e. Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or PyTest
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
• Experience in preparing test automation scripts using Playwright
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup, version control tools like Git and deployments using GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Should be familiar with Agile project methodology and delivery
• Familiar with Onshore-Offshore model
• Solid analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Python language, Financial Domain Knowledge & Experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar
• Exposure to AI/ML in testing or self‑healing test frameworks
