Job summary

Coupa is seeking a Software Engineer to scale our platform and contribute to a modular, microservice-friendly codebase. You will work with Product and Development teams to deliver new features, participate in code reviews, and thrive in an agile setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of software development experience (preferably Ruby on Rails), strong OO design, REST API and microservice experience, and proficiency in React.js and MySQL.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

• 2+ years of software development experience (preferably with Ruby on Rails)

• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills

• Experience building REST APIs and microservices

• Good understanding of common design patterns

• Experience with React.js (or similar Javascript framework) and CSS

• MySQL and general database knowledge, including performance and optimization
