Job summary

Persistent is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer in Pune with strong backend experience in .NET and REST APIs to contribute to feature delivery and scalable service development. You'll build high-quality API solutions, support MCP-related components, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure clean code and reliable production systems.

You will develop REST endpoints, follow contract-first design, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to QA and deployment

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core Web API development.
• Good understanding of REST principles, JSON handling, and API error handling.
• Basic knowledge of authentication concepts and API security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Open API specifications and automated testing concepts.
• Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and query development.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
