Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited is seeking a skilled .NET Full Stack Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using .NET Core/.NET and Angular.

You will build scalable services, REST APIs, and data access layers, collaborating with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver secure, high-performance solutions while following SOLID principles and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software development experience with .NET Core/.NET and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web API, and EF Core.
• Proficient in SQL Server and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web apps using .NET Core and Angular.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate backend with frontend.
• Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID and standards.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver solutions.
• Implement business logic, data access layers, and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews, unit tests, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Core/.NET and Angular.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code following SOLID principles and coding standards.
• Participate in application architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Implement business logic, data access layers, and application integrations.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and application performance tuning.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices for automated deployment and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development productivity and efficiency.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in software development using C# and .NET Core/.NET technologies.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server including query optimization, stored procedures, functions, indexing, and database design.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Dependency Injection, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar version control tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in unit testing frameworks and application debugging techniques.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
