Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced Programmer (Dev) in Pune for a full-time role. You will contribute to full-stack development, cloud-native architectures, and API delivery using .NET, React, Azure, Snowflake, and Kafka.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure enterprise applications, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive best practices across the development lifecycle. A strong emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development experience in enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience across full-stack development with .NET and React.
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of data storage, analytics, and data processing with Snowflake and Kafka; secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET and React.
• Build scalable, secure web apps and APIs with microservices architecture.
• Develop backend services and integration components; implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Create responsive UIs with React and modern frontend frameworks.

We are looking for an experienced Programmer (Dev) with 5 to 8 years of expertise in .NET, React, Azure, Snowflake, and Kafka to build scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across full-stack development, cloud-native architectures, API development, and modern engineering practices.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET and React.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and APIs.
• Design and implement backend services, microservices, and integration components.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React and modern frontend frameworks.
• Work with Snowflake for data storage, analytics integration, and data processing requirements.
• Develop and support event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to define solution designs and implementation strategies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and production issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and operational support guides.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in software application development and enterprise solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience working with Snowflake data platform and cloud-based data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven application architectures.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable microservices-based solutions.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud application design principles.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience working with SQL databases and data integration solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning capabilities.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
