Job summary

The Access Group in India is seeking an experienced Java developer to help evolve a high-throughput, cloud-native platform. You’ll work on Spring Boot APIs, microservices, and front-end integrations with React/TypeScript, ensuring performance, security, and quality.

You’ll refactor legacy systems, adopt SOLID principles, write unit tests with TDD/BDD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that empower thousands of customers.

Technology

We’ve successfully migrated our core products into Kubernetes in Azure and are in the process of refactoring a monolithic app into an Event Driven, Microservice architecture. We’re still on this journey, but our current approach uses: SPAs with Typescript and React on the frontend, Java and Spring Boot APIs on the backend, and Azure PaaS.

The Role

You’ll build new features, keep a high-throughput system stable and performant, and help refactor and migrate it, all while maintaining strong security and performance standards.

• You value software quality - you’ll be an experienced developer able to build and deliver high-quality software, skilled in Unit Testing, applying TDD and BDD.

• You’re comfortable working autonomously - once given a project, you can take it from inception through to successful completion, seeking input and feedback along the way.
• You’re prepared to drive change – you use learning techniques, soft skills, and lead by example to inject new ways of thinking wherever needed.
• You have experience with scalable microservices architecture and understand how to refactor legacy monolithic systems for better extensibility and maintainability.
