Job summary

Comviva Technology in India is seeking a skilled Java software engineer to contribute across the full development lifecycle, building scalable platforms and delivering clean, maintainable code.

You will design frameworks, prepare HLD/LLD, mentor juniors, and collaborate with Validation, Implementation, Support, Documentation, and Solutioning teams while engaging with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 21+ with hands-on experience.
• Experience with ORM frameworks Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Solid understanding of Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Worked with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Kafka messaging systems.
• Knowledge of common design patterns in software engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory Skills

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java 21 and above

• Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate (5.0) and JPA

• Strong experience in unit testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks like Mockito

• Strong understanding of Spring Core, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

• Experience with message-oriented middleware such as Kafka and Kafka Connect

• Good understanding of software design patterns

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible

• Experience working in Agile development environments

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of microservices architecture

• Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular

• Experience in the Payment Gateway domain

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services including EKS, EC2, MSK, ElastiCache, RDS, and replication

• Experience with observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack
