Job summary

Goodfit in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled Java developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. You will build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and work within a microservices architecture.

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams; write clean, reusable code; perform debugging and optimizations; participate in Agile/Scrum processes; handle production support and integrate third-party services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17.
• Hands-on with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases.
• Good understanding of SQL and database design.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Git/GitLab for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for container orchestration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
