Job summary

Moody's is seeking a skilled full-stack software engineer to join our Platform Engineering team in India. You will develop and maintain backend services with C#/.NET and frontend components using React or Vue, building scalable, reliable software across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to system documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack software engineering within product-based environments, with deep exposure to both backend and frontend technologies
• Proficiency in C#/.NET for backend development and React or Vue for frontend applications
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and application deployment practices
• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and strong foundations in data structures and object-oriented programming
• Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and pre-production environments
• Contribute to documentation to ensure system maintainability and knowledge sharing
