Job summary

PlaySimple Games in Bangalore North, India, is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our core development team. You will be an individual contributor building high-quality features that delight millions of players in real time.

You will own feature development from concept to deployment, collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers, and mentor junior teammates while maintaining clean, well-documented code and an agile mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in mobile application / game development.
• Strong command on Flutter (Dart), and experience building rich applications or games with it.
• Good understanding of the mobile ecosystem, hands-on experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) layers.
• Proven experience with modern programming languages and CS concepts, data structures, algorithms, and OOPS.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• A track record of working effectively in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
• B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of feature development from initial concept to final deployment, ensuring high performance and a polished user experience.
• Partner daily with Game Designers, Artists, and Product Managers to define requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and bugs, implementing robust solutions to ensure a smooth and crash-free experience for our players.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to help the team iterate faster and more effectively.
• Mentor and train junior engineers, shaping their career progression and growth.
