Job summary

Careernet in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Manager - Software Development to lead a team of engineers in delivering software for our Research & Development initiatives. You will serve as Technical Delivery Manager for projects across Coimbatore/Bangalore, driving delivery, quality, and cost objectives.

You will mentor senior engineers, implement Lean and Agile practices, and collaborate with business owners to align priorities, manage risk, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12 to 20 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering or Software Development Manager role.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Good understanding about requirements management process and tools.
• Good understanding about Architecture and design of Software products.
• Working experience in desktop and web-based application development.
• Strong knowledge on metrics-based management, stakeholder, and Cost management.
• Working experience in Scrum, Scaled Agile, Rapid prototyping, Iterative development.
• Good understand about Risk and dependency management.
• Close working experience with business teams / customers for at least 5 years.
• Good understanding about DevOps, CI/CD pipeline
• Good understanding of application security.
• Experience working with code repositories such as GitHub / TFS-GIT
• Experience in working with Global / distributed team.

• Knowledge of Software composition analysis (SCA)
• Cloud exposure or work experience (Azure/AWS/Google).
