Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in India (Uttar Pradesh) seeks a QA professional to validate Oracle EBS modules across Financials and SCM, design test strategies, and execute test plans from BRDs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
• 3+ years in QA/BA/Implementation support within Oracle EBS.
• Strong SQL & PL/SQL proficiency.
• Knowledge of financials, SCM, O2C or P2P cycles.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow Builder and BI/XML Publisher.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Execution: Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
• Module Validation: Perform functional and backend testing across core Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM; SCM: PO, OM, INV, WIP, BOM).
• Backend & Database Testing: Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to validate data migrations, verify interface logic, and troubleshoot backend tables.
• RICEW Testing: Validate Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows (RICEW), ensuring custom components map accurately to business needs.
• Integration & API Validation: Test integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems using Web Services, APIs, and SOA architectures.
• Defect Management: Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla, collaborating with offshore/onshore technical teams for quick resolution.
• Documentation: Maintain traceability matrices and update technical/functional documentation (e.g., MD050, TE040, AIM methodology).

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of dedicated experience in QA, Business Analysis, or Implementation support within Oracle EBS environments.
• SQL & PL/SQL: High proficiency in reading, writing, and debugging SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial accounting rules, supply chain end-to-end flows, and order-to-cash (O2C) or procure-to-pay (P2P) cycles.
• Tools: Hands-on experience with Oracle Workflow Builder, BI/XML Publisher, and automated testing frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Sharp analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
