Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a full-stack developer to build responsive front-end and robust REST APIs from Delhi. You will design data models, implement RBAC, and deploy on AWS while managing Nginx/PM2 configurations. The role emphasizes security, logging, and collaboration with the Safe Water Operations team.

You should have a strong background in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Bootstrap, Chart.js, and deployed full-stack projects, with legal eligibility to work in India.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent self-taught/bootcamp).
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with Bootstrap and Chart.js.
• Experience with REST API design and JSON.
• Experience with Node.js and Express.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Awareness of performance optimization and application logging/monitoring.
• A deployed full-stack application (academic, freelance, or personal).

Responsibilities

• Build responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript, including React or another framework as agreed with the team.
• Develop REST APIs using Node.js and Express with clean, documented JSON contracts.
• Design and manage relational data models in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Implement authentication and role-based authorization for Head Quarter, field, vendor, and admin users.
• Build activity dashboards and status visualizations using Chart.js and Bootstrap.
• Deploy and maintain the application on AWS, including EC2, IAM, Security Groups, and S3.
• Configure and manage the production server using Linux fundamentals, including SSH, file permissions, and process management.
• Set up Nginx as a reverse proxy with HTTPS and manage the app process using PM2.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, clean commits, and basic code review.
• Support basic logging and monitoring for production issue identification and tracing.
• Document setup, deployment, and handover steps.
• Design, build, and deploy an operations management platform for field visits, approvals, vendor coordination, activity tracking, and Head Quarter visibility.
• Report to the Senior Officer, Safe Water Operations and work with the Data, Survey & Operations team.
